it's extremely obvious. OEM ones have better curvature around the edges, aftermarket ones are just cheaply rounded off (feels like a harder edge). Compare back panel glass and display glass, OEM should match perfectly.

I agree with the comment of too fast. Yes you can slow the video down but the text is difficult to read being same color as background but is truly only a very broad explanation of what is going on exactly. What a proper helpful video of these procedured especially with iphones would include the screw sizing and locations with quick photo slides showing size in a chart and numbered steps so you know what section its on. Even just a quick written list of ordered procedures with screw sizing would suffice.. my phone didnt work anyway.. new charging port installed but it just draws 4ma for a second then nothing for a second and repeats this indefinitely. Wont even power on. Was using the phone one day with it plugged in and it suddenly started dropping battery fast then shut off.. replaced battery but hasent turned back on since.. its gone to heaven now.. i shall bury it with the other iphones of yesteryear..

He has technique which keeps the hot air gun from destroying the replacement port which has plastic parts that easily melt I wouldn't recommend trying this yourself

Where can you get it

You don't have to disconnect every other connector, only the battery one to change the battery. And the battery is very easy to get out, if you pull carefully on the two plastic black tabs that are connected to the double sided white tape under the battery. It is a thin black plastic connected to the white tape, just pull that in and twist the white tape from under the battery around something like a small thin screwdriver. And you will be able to get the battery out MUCH easier than trying to just bend on it from the side.

In planning to take this apart and add it into a z flip 3 frame as my custom phone 😂
